Handcrafted with Purpose: Giving Old Wood a New Life

The construction industry generates a massive amount of waste, much of it discarded without a second thought — including precious hardwoods that are no longer available in nature.
These necklaces are a response to that reality. Each one is handcrafted using upcycled materials rescued from demolition sites, including reclaimed ipê amarelo parquet — a durable and symbolic Brazilian wood that’s becoming increasingly rare.
The bahian artisan also incorporates cajazeira bark and old tool handles like traditional hoe handles, giving new life and purpose to what would otherwise be lost.
